This spring, Steely Dan and the Doobie brothers tour 2024/2025 join forces for an American tour. The two rock artists should visit Charlotte on May 10th. Over the next two months, 37 concerts will be played across the nation.
These new tour dates follow the death of Walter Becker, co-founder of Steely Dan, last September. After his death, the heirs of singers Donald Fagen and Becker were involved in the cause for the ownership of the name and the music of the group. Fagen referred to the 1972 sales agreement, according to which Fagen had acquired all property rights after Becker's death. However, Becker's legacy indicates that the contract is no longer valid. The latest version of Doobie Brothers was released by Southbound in 2014 in collaboration with Blake Shelton, Zac Brown Band and Braid Paisley.
